As part of his working visit to New York, Chairman of the State Committee on Urban Planning and Architecture of the Republic of Azerbaijan Anar Guliyev met with Minister of Cities of Brazil, Antônio Vladimir Moura Lima.

During the meeting, the parties discussed expanding cooperation within the framework of the Baku Continuity Coalition, established as a joint initiative of Azerbaijan, Brazil, Egypt and the United Arab Emirates, as well as the next phase of joint initiatives.

Anar Guliyev highly appreciated Brazil’s extensive participation in WUF13, its contribution to the global urban planning dialogue, and its consistent participation in the National Urban Forums held in Azerbaijan.

The Chairman of the Committee also expressed confidence that the fruitful cooperation between the two countries would continue to expand.
