On July 13, 2023, the next online meeting of the working group on “Issuance of building permits”, headed by the State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, was held on the topic “Discussion of completed questionnaire on the corresponding indicator of the new "Business Ready" report submitted by the World Bank and a statement on the evaluation results”.

 

The meeting was attended by the head of the working group, First Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture Namig Hummatov, Head of the Secretariat of the Commission on Business Environment and International Rankings, Head of Division for monitoring, coordination and evaluation of economic reforms of the Department of Economic Policy and Industrial Issues of the Presidential Administration Vusal Shikhaliyev, representatives of the State Committee for Urban Planning and Architecture, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, the Small and Medium Business Development Agency, Azersu OJSC, Azerishig OJSC, as well as other government agencies.

 

During the meeting, the members of the working group were presented and discussed in detail the completed questionnaire on the relevant indicator of the new report “Business Ready”, presented by the World Bank, and the prepared statement on the evaluation results, and an exchange of views on the upcoming tasks took place.
